🦚 Who is Lord Krishna?
Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu, was born at midnight on the Ashtami of Krishna Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada. ✨ His life and leelas symbolize victory of truth over evil.✨
🌙 On this day, over 5,000 years ago, Lord Krishna was born to Devaki & Vasudeva in Mathura.
🌙 On this day Goddess Yogmaya was also born and she sacrificed herself when Shree Krishna and Goddess Yogmaya was exchanged by Vasudeva ji .
🦚 Who is Goddess Yogmaya?
Yogamaya, also known as Ekanamsha, an incarnation of Goddess Durga or Mahamaya. She was born to Nanda and Yashoda as part of Lord Vishnu’s divine plan, immediately after Krishna was born to Devaki and Vasudeva. To protect Krishna from Kansa, Yogamaya was exchanged with Krishna at birth, and later, when Kamsa tried to kill her, she revealed her true form as a goddess and ascended to the heavens.
